Here's to all you fscktards that think cloaking is fine, that FREGE response times are too slow, that FREGE are a bunch of nubs, that the best way to kill a cloak is interceptors, insert other retarded comments that have no basis on exactly how BURN EDEN are abusing them:
BURN EDEN sits cloaked in NGM-OK frequently, and leaves a guy cloaked in surrounding systems watching the gates. Okay, no big deal.
FREGE gets together a <insert size of gang here> gang to deal with BE. Let's presume that FREGE has absolutely no intel on the type of ships that are being used, for now.
Cloaked ships cannot be scanned down, so probes are useless. The gang is forced to wait for BE to show themselves. Okay, that's understandable... somewhat. But do you like waiting up to two or three hours just for a single target out of 20 hostiles in system?
So, the gang sits quietly at POS, stargate, safespot, wherever, aligned and battlespeed towards a bait position.
Bait hauler jumps into system. BE interdictor uncloaks. FREGE gang warps to gate. BE interdictor bubbles, MWDs out, and warps. BE ravens uncloak 200km away, align and battlespeed towards, toast the hauler. Okay, what just happened? For anyone that says cloaking nerfs your targetting range, you are wrong. It only nerfs your targetting time. And guess what? A bunch of sensor boosters will fix that.
FREGE gang arrives at gate, and are either inside the bubble or on the edge of it, depending on timing. BE sits and roasts anyone in the bubble. FREGE 'ceptors & dictors make a run for the ravens, whether by MWD or by warping to a tactical that's right on top of the ravens. BE ravens simply warp off and cloak at a safespot when the 'ceptors get close. Okay, so what just happened? Blob warfare didn't work, FREGE loses ships, and BE gets away scott clean.
Nothing wrong with BE getting away with no losses, this is pvp. That is, there would be nothing wrong with it, if it was actually possible to counter their "tactics" without relying solely on them making mistakes.
Let's disseminate this info:
BE camps and shoots 200km away, with no adverse affects from the cloak.
BE decloaks and aligns for a safespot, so as soon as you think you're on top of them... they warp out. Anyone can see that a ship is coming out of warp on you and hit the warp button before that 'dictor actually finishes coming out of warp and puts up a bubble.
If any ravens are threatened by FREGE snipers, those ravens just warp out.
So exactly how is this supposed to be not abuse?
